11-09-12 - Autumn Programme at Falkirk Town Hall

Autumn Programme at Falkirk Town Hall

For the upcoming season, Falkirk Town Hall is going back in time, and FVRG are excited to be part of it!

On Friday 21st September, the family favourite set in 1950s Rydell High comes to Falkirk Town Hall. Grease will be played on the big screen with sing-a-long lyrics so everyone can join in! The evening begins with your host leading a vocal warm-up before they show you how to use your free goody bag. You'll even get a chance to learn how to hand jive! Then just sit back and watch Danny and Sandy and the gang, while singing and dancing along to the lyrics as shown on the screen. It couldn’t be easier... or more fun! There will be a prize for the best dressed and the cars from the movie will also be making a special appearance! Make sure you look out for FVRG's own Rink Ladies and T-Stop Birds as the festivites get underway - the skaters will be promoting their next bout in November, held at The Peak in Stirling.

Grease sing-along

To continue with the retro theme, the team at Falkirk Community Trust have also scheduled a vintage fair on Saturday 21st October with clothes, crafts and jewellery from some of the best designers in Scotland on sale. After the success of their own craft fair earlier this year, FVRG have been invited along as stall-holders and will also be putting on a roller derby demo.

Craft Fair

Both events promise to be packed full of entertainment - we can't wait to be involved!
