20-08-12 - Dundee Roller Girls double header
On Saturday 8th September, Dundee Roller Girls will be hosting a Roller Derby double-header at the DISC in Dundee, from 12 noon.
The first bout will see Scotland's 'Rising Stars' take each other on in Team Black v Team White. We are proud to announce that some of our own new skaters will be joining ladies from Dundee Roller Girls, Perth's Fair City Rollers and Aberdeen's Granite City Roller Girls in this exciting event.
Bout two will offer something a little different: mixed male-female teams from Dundee Roller Girls and Scotland's only male Roller Derby league, The Jakey Bites in Scotlands first ever co-ed bout. Two of our referees can be seen moonlighting as Jakey's in this co-ed bout, so the FVRG contingent will be making a lot of noise from the sidelines!
Tickets can be bought for £6 on the door, but since this looks set to be a huge event and is generating a lot of interest in the Derby community, you might want to buy tickets online now, and save yourself a a bit of money as well.
