FVRG at Scribblers Picnic 2014

By · May 4, 2014 · Filed in PR Events

For the past two years, volunteers from Fierce Valley Roller Girls have hired a stall at Scribblers Picnic in Stirling, and this year will be no different.

Scribblers Picnic is a non-profit charity who organise an annual music festival to raise funds for many cancer charities. The atmosphere at the event is great, with lots of families going along to enjoy live music from local bands and to take in the many stalls at the festival.

The FVRG stall will be stacked full with our league and team merchandise, and will be run by our very chatty and friendly helpers. We like to attend events like this to get chatting to people about roller derby, as well as supporting local businesses and events.

This year, we will also be advertising our next home game against Newcastle Roller Girls, hosted at The Peak in Stirling. We will also be running a ticket giveaway competition to win tickets for the game! If you’ve heard about roller derby but need to know more information before taking the plunge, please pop over to our stall where we can answer any questions that you may have.

Look forward to seeing you there!
